2025 K-pop rookie groups arrived fast and loud. Survival-show alums, major-label launches, and a few bold co-ed experiments set the tone. The first half of the year already reshaped the 6th Generation conversation.
Below are 10 acts that stood out on the 2025 K-pop debut schedule. Some leaned into hip-hop and EDM, others went for ballads, retro pop, rock fusion, or a more indie-leaning sound.
KickFlip

Debut date: January 10, 2025
Members: Jaeho, Minseok, Hyunwoo, Taeyun, Seungjun
KickFlip came out swinging with a hip-hop-heavy style and crisp, athletic choreography. Their debut track “Skate On” reached the Top 20 on the Gaon Digital Chart.
They also picked up extra attention through Mnet’s “Rookie King,” where they finished in the Top 5. That survival-show visibility, paired with a streetwear-friendly image, helped push them into endorsement talks.
XLOV

Debut date: February 14, 2025
Members: Minji, Yuna, Seoyeon, Hyejin
XLOV made their name through performance first. The group’s urban-pop sound and hard-hitting choreography put “Breakthrough” right in the middle of rookie dance conversations. And the response only grew from there.
Their choreography took off on TikTok, especially with younger fans, which fed directly into their rising visibility. They also won Best Dance Performance (Rookie) at multiple year-end award shows.
Hearts2Hearts

Debut date: March 5, 2025
Members: Sumin, Yejin, Harin, Doyeon, Chaewon, Jisoo
While a lot of rookies chased louder first impressions, Hearts2Hearts stood out with vocals. Their debut EP “Pulse” drew praise for its emotional tone and polished delivery. Fans quickly latched onto the group’s more mature sound.
They also placed in the top 3 of the rookie category at the “Idol Star Brand Awards.”
NouerA

Debut date: July 10, 2025
Members: Hana, Yuri, Mina, Seulgi, Jieun, Bora
NouerA built their image around elegance. Harmonies, polished visuals, and a more refined concept helped them stand out in a year filled with louder branding and faster trends.
They also picked up multiple small-scale rookie awards and landed on several year-end rookie lists. Fashion magazine features added another layer to their rise.
KiiiKiii

Debut date: May 1, 2025
Members: Jiwon, Eunha, Soojin, Hyelim, Nayoung
KiiiKiii found a lane quickly. Their concept pulled from 1990s K-pop nostalgia but paired it with current production. So, the result was a debut that felt familiar without reading as a throwback gimmick.
That retro identity played especially well on social media. KiiiKiii built steady engagement through themed content and styling. They also kept appearing on rookie nomination lists, a sign that their fandom was growing into something more solid than just early curiosity.
NEWBEAT

Debut date: March 12, 2025
Members: Seungwoo, Jinho, Kyungmin, Daehyun, Yoonho
NEWBEAT arrived with a sound that instantly set them apart. Their debut single “Revolution” mixed idol-pop structure with rock elements. That approach helped them pull interest from both idol fans and listeners who usually want something a little less conventional.
CORTIS

Debut date: April 20, 2025
Members: Hyunjin, Seokmin, Taemin, Jinhyuk, Suho
CORTIS went all-in on sleek visuals, EDM-pop production, and a futuristic concept. It worked. Their debut song “Neon Lights” hit 5 million Spotify Korea streams within a month. It gave them an early streaming milestone not every rookie can claim.
And they didn’t stay boxed into music promotions. Tech brand campaigns helped them build a broader profile in an already packed rookie field.
izna

Debut date: June 15, 2025
Members: Haneul, Minseo, Yeji, Chaerin, Soyeon
izna took a different route from many of their peers. Their debut release “Echoes” leaned indie, reflective, and self-produced in feel. Fans praised its lyrical depth and sense of authenticity.
They haven’t been positioned as the most commercial rookie act of the year. Still, that softer and more personal approach earned them real credibility in alternative K-pop spaces.
ALLDAY PROJECT

Debut date: January 25, 2025
Members: Jisung, Minho, Taesung, Woobin
ALLDAY PROJECT went for smooth vocals and mid-tempo R&B. That choice gave them a clear identity early on among mellower listeners.
Multiple members also gained exposure through the survival show “Road to Stardom,” with several reaching the finale.
AxMxP

Debut date: April 5, 2025
Members: Seojun, Hyunseok, Jaein, Donghyuk, Minseong
AxMxP made a strong first impression with high-energy stages and more experimental production choices. Their debut EP “Pulsewave” entered the top 10 on Circle Chart album sales, which gave the group an immediate commercial talking point.
But what really set them apart was their willingness to push at the edges of the usual rookie formula.
