CORTIS Seonghyeon quickly turned into a major talking point after Seonghyeon, Keonho, and Juhoon flew to France this month for the Dior Summer show. They instantly got people’s attention in Paris.
The three members arrived in Paris on June 21. They attended the official Dior Homme fashion show on Wednesday, June 24. They went to Paris just months after their GQ Korea x Dior Beauty photoshoot. That photoshoot had already made CORTIS famous as a rising name in fashion.
In the unedited Getty Images photos, Seonghyeon visibly looked nervous and stiff. He faced harsh comments about his skin, makeup, looks, styling, and poor posture. People used the photos to argue that he lacked the natural star power and confidence. People made fun of how stiff he stood and how scared he looked.

Fans quickly defended him. They said that it is completely normal for a rookie idol to be nervous when facing a massive wall of flashing cameras at his first global fashion show. Many came to his defense by pointing out that Seonghyeon is just 17 years old. Fans argue that it is unfair and cruel to attack a teenager who is still growing and learning how to handle the massive pressure of global events.
