BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is facing a fashion controversy after Belgian designer Benjamin Voortmans claimed that she never returned clothes he lent her for her solo project. This controversy exploded after Voortmans posted a video on Instagram and TikTok.
Alleging that six items sent for an album cover shoot had been missing for around six months. He said that three of them were major pieces from Judassime’s most recent collection. These weren’t just standard items; they were high-value, custom collection pieces essential to his brand’s portfolio. This made the loss even worse for an independent designer.
The designer tagged Jisoo’s personal account in his posts and said that her side was ignoring repeated follow-ups. He said he had already sent contracts and bills, and then he took legal action to get the clothes back. He claimed that not only did Jisoo’s side stop responding, but the American production team overseeing the project also went silent. This created a “black hole” where no one knew what was happening. By cutting off the Korean side, the U.S. team made it impossible to fix the project or talk things out.
“Jisoo from BLACKPINK basically stole my stuff,” Voortmans said in one viral clip. He later clarified that he was trying to force a response from the team, not accuse Jisoo personally of taking the items herself.
He posted the video when Jisoo was attending the 2026 Met Gala. Some fans blame her styling team for the missing clothes or a bigger problem with her company, BLISSOO.
Neither Jisoo nor her agency, BLISSOO, issued a public statement or official press release regarding the controversy. But the situation shifted again, not long after that video. In a follow-up video, Voortmans said he “never actually attacked Jisoo” and that the dispute was in the process of being settled. That update suggests the core issue may have been communication and handling on the project side, rather than direct wrongdoing by the BLACKPINK member.
Some people online on X are calling Jisoo a “thief” because of the designer’s claims. They criticize her for keeping expensive clothes from a small brand without permission. Since Jisoo is the CEO of her own company, BLISSOO, critics say she is responsible for what happens.
Those blaming her stylist remember what she said? She said she handles every single thing in her company, so don’t try to shift blame.
Watch her fans attack the designers as if they should be honored that their fave stole their expensive designs.
Many fans are defending Jisoo, saying that famous stars don’t usually pick out their own clothes. They believe her stylists and managers are the ones who messed up. They also think the designer is just using Jisoo’s name to get attention during the Met Gala.
Yeah sure like Jisoo needs to “steal” anything. Even you don’t believe that. If this person is telling the truth, then the fault is entirely on the stylist. Jisoo can’t know details of everything happening in the company.
Even if it was true, that’s her team’s fault, and they need to be fired and never hired again in the industry. Brands like Dior and Cartier keep fighting to get jisoo, why would she need to steal some random sh*t?
Yeah, bitter haters, so mad and jealous that she is getting attention!! They want to bring up sh*t!!
