Jimin’s Heartbreaking Post-Concert Live: Why He Was Trembling

Not long after BTS performed their rain-soaked opening weekend at Goyang Stadium, Jimin went live on Weverse. He was visibly emotional as he talked about being back on a major stage as seven again after years of military service and solo schedules.

Jimin admitted he was trembling during certain moments, calling out “Arirang” in particular. With the world watching every second, his honesty quickly shifted the mood online from “did it sound perfect?” to “how much pressure are they carrying right now?”

What He Said In His Live:

I also had so many regrets today. It rained so much too. This time, I really, really wanted to try this new staging even if it meant cutting out the dance, so I put in the effort, but there were parts where the pyrotechnic smoke didn’t clear properly.

Because there was no wind due to the weather, it normally would have dissipated well when the entrance happened. Things like that felt a bit disappointing too. So, while I hoped a lot that you all would enjoy it, I think I went up there with a ton of worries too.

As I mentioned on stage today, it felt a bit burdensome and difficult, and though the desire to show you was even greater, I felt like I had to do it well and repay you at least as much as you’d waited, so I don’t think I went up there with a light heart like “just have fun casually.” So, if the people who came felt even a little bit of enjoyment, then I think that would be enough. Then I could finally relax and sleep well.
