IPQ said his condition made it difficult for him to keep up with the group’s schedule, so everyone agreed it was best for him to leave.
Why Did He Leave His Group
Before Junghoon left OMEGA X, the group had been inactive for a long time. Back on May 2, 2025, IPQ Entertainment announced that he would suspend activities after doctors advised him to rest following a hospital visit tied to an abnormal health condition. He stayed away from all group activities since then. In a handwritten letter, Junghoon thanked fans for all their support. He described his departure as a courageous new beginning.
Junghoon has dealt with health issues for a while. Earlier in his career, he also underwent surgery and rehabilitation for a torn cruciate ligament. Fans were already worried about his health and his long-term recovery back then. Junghoon debuted in 2019 with the group ENOi before re-debuting with OMEGA X in 2021. Over his five-year career, he was a key part of the group. He worked as a main dancer and helped create their music.
