Fans noticed that RM’s official Instagram account liked a fan-made video calling him “husband” on April 13. That tiny tap was enough to send ARMY into full chaos mode. ARMY joked that Kim Namjoon personally signed off on one of BTS’s favorite inside jokes.
And honestly, the reaction didn’t come out of nowhere. RM has long been tied to the fandom’s playful “wife and kids” conspiracy, so the like immediately revived the whole RM wife conspiracy online.
In a 2019 Radio Disney interview, members shared what they wanted to be when they were younger. RM said he wanted to be a father.

Some fans thinks that RM really wanted to get married but he is afraid of the hate he might receive.

But RM has already addressed his real BTS relationship status more than once. In a recent Weverse livestream, he said clearly that he is single and not married. He also shut down earlier marriage rumors linked to a ring he wore on his ring finger, saying that Jin gave him this ring as a gift.
