Jennie Named Among “TIME” 100 Most Influential People On Earth

Jennie has landed on TIME magazine’s 2026 TIME100 list, making her the only Korean artist recognized in this year’s Artists category.

TIME unveiled its annual list on April 15, placing the BLACKPINK star alongside some of the biggest names across entertainment, politics, and culture. For Jennie, it’s another clear sign that her influence now stretches well beyond K-pop.

For her feature Gracie Abrams wrote the tribute. Abrams praised Jennie’s magnetism onstage and off, calling her “undeniable presence” and “a softness that only emphasizes her strength.” She summed it up simply: Jennie is “a star” with “magic at her core.”

The Jennie TIME 100 influential nod follows a big stretch in her solo career. Her debut solo album Ruby, released in March 2025, helped her as a force for herself. And she has continued building momentum on the Billboard Hot 100 with tracks including “One of the Girls” with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, “ExtraL” with Doechii, and the remix of Tame Impala’s “Dracula.”

Beyond music, Jennie also expanded into acting with her debut in HBO’s “The Idol“. Fans have been celebrating the moment as another major milestone for Jennie.
