THE BOYZ’s fight with ONE HUNDRED Label just hit a major turning point. On April 23, the Seoul Central District Court granted an injunction for Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric, suspending the validity of their exclusive contracts and recognizing that their contract termination was lawful.

Why THE BOYZ Filed Case Against The Agency
The legal victory for THE BOYZ stands as a development in artist-agency legal developments in K-pop this year. The nine members had already notified the label on February 10 that they were ending their contracts, pointing to unpaid settlements, breach of contract, and a complete breakdown of trust.
How The Agency Mistreated Them
The dispute spilled into public view on March 19, 2026. Denying the allegations, ONE HUNDRED Label claimed it supported the members and fulfilled all advance and contract payments.
But the members’ legal team kept challenging the claim. They said no payments had been received for the third and fourth quarters of 2025 and that delays had happened more than once.
One of the most important parts of the decision is the court’s rejection of the agency’s advance payment defense. Prepayment or signing-related payments were not treated as replacement for settlement funds the members had already earned under their contracts.
The dispute isn’t just about salaries; it’s about basic operational support. The members allege the agency mishandled their dorm deposits. And even failed to pay for practice spaces. They left the group to scramble just days before their massive three-day run at the April 24–26 KSPO Dome concert.
Fans are celebrating the result across online communities. After months of public debate over THE BOYZ settlement dispute, many are calling it a big victory for nine members.
