Park Bom’s contract with D’NATION Entertainment has officially come to an end. On June 5, D’NATION announced that Park Bom and the agency had mutually agreed to part ways after eight years together. According to the label, the decision came after sufficient discussion between the two sides. The agency also thanked the fans for their ongoing support and asked them to keep cheering for Park Bom as she starts this next chapter. They added that they wish her a healthy new beginning.

Eight Years With D’NATION Entertainment
Park Bom signed with D’NATION in 2018 after leaving YG Entertainment in the aftermath of 2NE1’s disbandment. During her time there, she continued her solo career and later joined some of 2NE1’s reunion era activities, reminding fans why she has remained one of K-pop’s most beloved vocalists. In July 2018, Park Bom signed with D’NATION Entertainment. She made her highly anticipated return to the music scene with the release of the single “Spring” on March 13, 2019.
However, the end of that period was very difficult. In August 2025, D’NATION said Park Bom would step back from all 2NE1 activities because she was in a “very unstable emotional state.” At the time, the agency stated that her main focus was getting treatment, resting, and staying stable.
The Legal Battle: Park Bom vs. YG Entertainment
Park Bom’s departure from the agency follows a difficult period that was far more complex than just her contract ending. In late 2025, she publicly accused YG Entertainment and Yang Hyun Suk of fraud and unpaid earnings tied to her 2NE1 activities, saying she had filed a lawsuit. D’NATION pushed back, saying all related settlements had already been completed and that there was no record of any officially filed complaint.
And that wasn’t the only controversy. Park Bom’s handwritten allegations involving Sandara Park sparked major backlash. Sandara and her team denied the claims, but the situation upset many fans and created even more worry during an already hard time.
Fans have mixed reactions to the news about Park Bom’s contract. While many are sad to see an eight-year partnership come to an end, they are also relieved that her health and recovery can now be the top priority.
For many fans, the bigger issue right now isn’t where she signs next. It’s whether Park Bom gets the time and space to rest fully. After everything that happened over the last year, that may be the most important news of all.
