Aespa just reached a new milestone in the UK. For the chart week ending June 5, 2026, the group’s latest title track, “LEMONADE,” became aespa’s first-ever entry on the UK Official Charts. It’s a long-awaited first for the group, and it shows that their comeback is becoming popular far beyond Korea. “LEMONADE” also debuted at No. 13 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart and No. 15 on the Official Singles Sales Chart.

That makes this a major achievement for aespa on the charts. Before “LEMONADE,” the group had never entered the UK Official Singles Chart, despite steadily building a strong international following through their earlier releases. Now, they’ve finally crossed that line.
The song, released on May 29 as the title track for aespa’s second full-length album, LEMONADE, arrived with a lot of excitement and support. The album reportedly sold more than 842,000 copies on its first day on Hanteo. It also topped iTunes charts in multiple regions, adding to the sense that this era was going to hit big.
A lot of that excitement was built up by the pre-release single “WDA (Whole Different Animal),” which came out on May 11. The hip-hop-based dance track, featuring G-DRAGON, kept aespa firmly in the comeback conversation ahead of the album release. That helped them get off to a great start during their first week.
The album is also getting attention for its broad international reach. LEMONADE includes 11 tracks and collaborations with artists including Ty Dolla $ign and Becky G. This helps the album reach more people around the world while still keeping aespa’s unique sound.
With “LEMONADE” now on the board in the UK, this comeback has already delivered one of the biggest overseas chart moments of aespa’s career.
Aespa has had solid results on global and regional charts before. But a first UK Official Singles Chart entry feels different.
